Mochilas are hand-woven by the beautiful women of the Wayuu tribe in northern Colombia.  Each bag is individually woven using indigenous techniques that have been passed down through generations and takes 10-15 days to make.  By purchasing one of these bags you are helping to preserve their unique culture and provide economic support to the tribe.
